Frieza

Frieza (Japanese: フリーザ, Hepburn: Furīza), also spelled as Freeza in Funimation's English subtitles and Viz Media's release of the manga, is a fictional character and the main antagonist of the Dragon Ball manga series created by Akira Toriyama. He makes his debut in Chapter #247: "Dark Clouds Swirl Over Planet Namek", first published in Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine on October 24, 1989, as the main antagonist of his eponymous saga, depicted as a galactic tyrant feared as the most powerful being in the universe.

Despite not appearing until the manga's second half, Frieza is widely considered to be the most iconic and popular villain in Dragon Ball, and the archenemy of Goku – since he effectively catalyzes many of the events depicted in the story, due to the destruction of the Saiyan homeworld Planet Vegeta at his hands and Goku's arrival on Earth and subsequent conflicts with Raditz, Nappa and Vegeta. Frieza later appears as the primary villain in the 2015 film Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F' and as a recurring character in Dragon Ball Super.

Muzan Kibutsuji

Muzan Kibutsuji (鬼舞辻 無惨, Kibutsuji Muzan) was the first and strongest demon in existence. He was originally a sickly young man who lived during the Heian period, who was turned into a demon as a result of an experimental treatment intended to save his life. Since then, he has dedicated himself to using his blood to sire demons in an effort to create a demon immune to sunlight. This goal motivates him to attack Tanjiro's family in an attempt to turn them into demons, and after Nezuko, the sole survivor of the attack, manifests an immunity to sunlight, he focuses his efforts on capturing and devouring her. The Demon Slayer Corps exploits his obsession and set a trap which kills his remaining subordinates. Muzan kills Tamayo and numerous Demon Slayers before realizing that he was drugged with a variation of the humanity-restoring serum, with added poisons that nullifies most of his abilities, weakening him enough so that the Corps can fight him till dawn. Muzan's final act is to turn Tanjiro into a new demon so he would kill the Demon Slayers, but this fails when Tanjiro's friends help to restore his humanity.

Tenko Shimura

The main antagonist of the series and All For One's apprentice. Born the grandson of All Might's master Nana Shimura, as a child he was rescued from the streets by All For One after he accidentally slaughtered his entire family with his Quirk Decay (崩壊, Hōkai) which enables him to disintegrate whatever he touches with his fingers and anything connected to it.[84] The character is based on the protagonist of the author's first one-shot titled Tenko, which starred the eponymous boy during wartime in feudal Japan.[85] While Horikoshi was drawing his character, he discovered that drawing inexpressive hands was extremely difficult. He stated that he was on the verge of tears every week due to having to draw a particular character which is assumed to be Tomura.[vol. 2, omake] Tomura made the villains known to the heroes by leading the attack on the Unforeseen Simulation Joint.[ch. 13] He has a twisted, malevolent, and malicious personality, which is the polar opposite of Izuku Midoriya's. He does not care for his own or almost anyone else's life, having no qualms about performing evil deeds such as murdering innocent people.[ch. 17, 68] Much like a child, he seems unable to cope with his own feelings, instead lashing out and abusing himself and others, tearing at his own neck when he becomes frustrated or stressed. This particular agony stems from the abuse he suffered from his hero-hating father and being alone during his childhood, with All For One claiming that it represented his suppressed urge to kill and destroy.[ep 111] During his fight with Re-Destro, he overcame the past shackles of guilt, through his childhood feelings and his memories of being alone, and now looks forward to end the hero society.[ep 112] After All For One is arrested, Tomura takes full control of the League and eventually becomes the Grand Commander of the Paranormal Liberation Front, a combined villain army that consists of the League and the Meta Liberation Army.[ch. 240] Eventually, Tomura inherits All For One's Quirk as part of the villain's scheme to acquire One For All, with All For One's visage gradually absorbing and reflecting Tomura's consciousness.[ch. 273, 336] During the final battle, Tomura finally destroys All For One's visage and regains control of his body with the intention of destroying everything.[ch. 379]
